Saed Adnan Sarsur

Founder and CEO

Mr Sarsur was born near Jaffa into a prominent Middle Eastern Arab family and raised in a distinguished household by academic parents. His father, Dr Adnan Sarsur, is an academic and expert in education. From a young age, Saed was taught to be intellectually curious about the world and to respect individuals from all backgrounds, valuing both their differences and similarities. He believes that the combination of business development, a strong economy, and quality education is the key to success.

 

Saed leverages a wealth of experiences across various business sectors including Finance, Investments, Oil & Gas and Technology. He began his career with 012 Smile Telecom (later Orange Network), where he worked with the international business department of one of the largest telecom companies in the Middle East. Saed led business development initiatives in the region, introducing the company to Arab countries and contributing to the establishment of one of the largest telecommunications firms in the Middle East. These achievements earned him recognition as one of the promising young business leaders in the region. 

 

Saed then advanced to the position as CEO of the Oil & Gas division of the corporation, leading the exploration and upstream business in the Middle East. Mr Sarsur is accomplished across the upstream industry where he led the exploration of complex projects and deep horizon drilling wells working with leading global partners and service providers. Furthermore, Saed has put together a multi-national cross-border strategic consortium of a leading multi-billion dollar Oil & Gas companies for a leading LNG projects in the Eastern Mediterranean region in order to provide Energy Security to Europe and the region.    

 

Saed’s education spans multiple countries and prestigious institutions including Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge. He was educated in Britain as an undergraduate where he studied International Relations and Economics with Richmond University in London. He later completed Financial Technology with the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.  In addition to this, Saed also completed Executive Education studies with University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. Lastly, Saed completed Finance for Senior Executive with Harvard Business School. ​

In addition to his professional endeavours, Saed is actively involved in philanthropy and charity, advising several charitable organisations. He is an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying football and basketball, and regularly practice tennis and horse riding.
