Saed Sarsur

Saed Sarsur is the Chief Executive Officer of UNB Group of Companies.  He leads the activities of the Energy and Capital Investments. . 

 

Mr Sarsur was born into a prominent Arab Israeli family and was raised in a distinguished household by an academic parents, his father Dr Adnan Sarsur is an academic and education expert.  His parents taught him to be intellectually curious about the world around him and to respect everyone whatever their background, valuing them for their differences as well as their similarities. Saed believes that the combination of business development, a strong economy and good education is the winning formula for success.

 

Saed is able to leverage a wealth of business experiences in many fields as CEO of the UNB. He started his career with 012 Smile Telecom (nowadays Orange Network), where he worked with the international business department of one of the largest Middle Eastern telecom companies. He led business development in the Middle East and was responsible for introducing the company to Arabic countries, he also helped establishing one of the largest telecommunications companies in the Middle East. These achievements led to him to be selected as one of the young promising business leaders in the Middle East.  

 

Saed continued his career as Senior Managing Director for the Energy division of the corporation. He also represented the corporation at international conferences and events including OPEC, GCC, EU and The World Bank. 

 

Saed was educated in Britain and Israel, and later online with Harvard, USA. He completed Finance for Senior Executives Course with Harvard Business School, and he achieved a certificate of completion from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School having completed a course in Oxford Fintech Programme (Financial Technology). 

As an undergraduate, he read International Relations and Economics at Richmond University in London, he also read Business and Economics at the Open University in Tel Aviv.  As a student, he was the President of the Richmond Diplomatic Society,

Saed is also engaged with philanthropy and charity, and act as a board member for a number of charitable organisations. Saed is a  big sports fan particularly football, tennis and basketball. He also ride horses on regular basis.
